What resolution are the exported images?
Resolution is controlled by the "Resolution" slider, expressed as a multiple of 72 DPI. 2x (144 DPI) is a good default for screen use; use 3–4x for print-quality output.
Do I get one image or many?
A single-page PDF downloads as one image file. Multi-page PDFs are packaged into a ZIP with one image per page.
PNG or JPEG — which should I choose?
PNG is lossless and best for text-heavy or graphic pages. JPEG produces smaller files and works well for photo-heavy pages, with an adjustable quality slider.
Does this work on scanned PDFs?
Yes — rendering pages to images works regardless of whether the PDF contains a text layer, since it rasterizes each page as it appears visually.
