Terms of Use

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pixuno (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of the service

Pixuno provides tools for converting, editing and transforming images, PDFs and documents. All processing runs locally in your web browser using standard browser APIs — files you work with are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. If you are using Pixuno on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Your files and content

You retain all rights to any files, images, documents or other content you process using Pixuno. Because processing happens entirely on your device, we never receive, view, or store your content, and we make no claim to it.

You are solely responsible for the files you process using the Service and for ensuring you have the right to use, edit and convert them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a way that places excessive load on it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service except as permitted by applicable law
  • Misrepresent your identity or use the Service to impersonate any person or entity

Intellectual property

The Pixuno name, logo, website design, and underlying software (excluding any open-source components, which remain governed by their own licenses) are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as necessary to use the Service as intended.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results suitable for every use case, including archival, legal, or professional purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixuno and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, files, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Because your files are processed locally, we strongly recommend keeping your own backups of any original files before editing or converting them.

Third-party links and advertising

The Service may display links to third-party websites or advertising. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site or service.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

Termination

Since the Service does not require an account, "termination" generally means we may restrict or block access to the Service for anyone who violates these terms, at our discretion.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pixuno's operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
