About the PDF editor

Pixuno's PDF editor lets you annotate a PDF: place text boxes, draw or type a signature, upload an image of one, add photos and logos, and sketch freehand — then move, resize and delete anything you've added before downloading the result.

This is an overlay editor, not a text editor for the PDF itself — it does not modify text, images or content that already exists in the document. Positions are stored relative to each page, so everything lands in the same spot in the exported file regardless of how far you zoomed in while placing it.

Everything runs client-side with pdf.js (for rendering) and pdf-lib (for export). Your file is never uploaded — the original PDF and the edited version both stay on your device.

How it works

01

Open a PDF

Drop in the document you want to annotate.

02

Add content

Place text boxes, a signature, images or freehand drawings anywhere on any page.

03

Download the result

Everything you added is baked into a new PDF, positioned exactly where you left it.

Why use this tool?

A sensitive document stays sensitive

Contracts, forms and signed documents are edited locally — never uploaded to sign or annotate.

Position holds at any zoom

Every element is anchored to the page itself, not the screen, so nothing drifts between placing it and downloading.

No install, no plugin

A full annotation toolset — text, signature, drawing, images — in the browser tab you already have open.

FAQ

Can Pixuno edit the existing text inside my PDF?

Not yet — this editor adds new content on top of your PDF (text, signatures, drawings and images). It does not modify text that already exists in the document.

Is the signature legally binding?

The signature tool creates a visual signature annotation — a drawn, typed or uploaded image placed on the page. It is not a certificate-based digital signature and Pixuno does not guarantee its legal validity for any particular use case.

Does my PDF get uploaded anywhere?

No. Your PDF is opened, edited and exported entirely in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. It is never uploaded to a server.

Can I edit scanned PDFs?

You can add text, signatures and drawings on top of a scanned PDF just like any other, but Pixuno does not perform OCR or recognize text within a scanned image.

What happens if I zoom in or out while editing?

Nothing added moves — every element is positioned relative to the page itself, not the screen, so it stays exactly where you placed it at any zoom level and in the final download.
